On 5 Dec 1853, (name missing or excluded) sold 80 acres of land in Walworth County, Wisconsin, to Levi Sawyer for $200. Levi assumed a mortgage of $500 on the Richmond plat, payable to Alfred Viles. The deed was witnessed by John A. Perry and Daniel Salisbury.4 According to land records of Sugar Creek, Walworth County, Wisconsin, purchased 70 acres from Reuben and Lucy Wessels, for $800.5 He was head of household on the 1855 census of in Walworth County, Wisconsin B. W. Vials.6 He was head of household on the 1855 census of in Walworth County, Wisconsin with 1 male, obviously Benjamin, and 2 females (Emily and a daughter)..7 He was issued a land patent on 25 Feb 1867 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, for 38 1/2 acres under the 1820 public land sale act.8 He lived in Minnesota on 18 Jan 1869.1 Benjamin Warren died after 18 Jan 1869.1 He was issued a land patent on 1 Jul 1874 in Alexandria, Minnesota, 160 acres under the Homestead Act of 1862.9 He was living in Minnesota on 10 May 1883.10
